Koena Mitra Biography;
Koena Mitra, born on 7th January 1979 in Kolkata,she is a trained dancer. It is associated with Mamta Shankar ballet troupe.
In 2002 she won the Gladrags Mega Model Contest. She appeared in ads for brands Mirinda, Maruti Alto and Clinic all clear. She also appeared in music videos as Jassi's Channo and Stereo Nation's Ishq.

Koena Mitra was first seen on the big screen in a point Khullam Khulla in Ram Gopal Varma's Road (2002). In 2005 she played a leading role in Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena with Fardeen Khan. That same year she had a cameo in David Dhawan's Shaadi No.1.
Sangeeth Sivan's Apna Sapna Money Money (2006) was a flop. In the hit film Heyy Baby (2007) she played in a number range. Anant Mahadevan's Anamika (2008), which was a remake of Alfred Hitchcock's Rebecca, not doing good. It also played Minissha Lamba and Dino Morea.
In 2009 she will be seen at a point in a Tamil movie as Ayan stars Surya and Tamanna Bhatia.
