Sophie Choudry was born in the United Kingdom. Her father, who was an admirer of the actress Sophia Loren, called her Sophiya. She recently started Sophie.
Music was a big part of her growing up years. While at school, she was in the choir has also participated in musicals and performed in her school and university. She was thirteen years old when the composer Biddu noticed her talent and she was allowed to back-up singers like Shweta Shetty and Alisha Chinai sing.
Choudry also excelled in the academic world and studied French and European politics at the London School of Economics. She also spent time in Paris at Sciences-Po, where most of the French politicians have studied.
